Al-Arab Al-Sewedy Group, JAC's distributor in Egypt, has announced a financing offer allowing customers to buy the brand's cars with a 10% down payment and installments up to 10 years. The offer coincides with JAC's official launch in Egypt, where it introduced 4 new models including the J5, J7, and J7 SHS hybrid. Prices for the JAC J5 start at 1.195 million EGP, while the J7 SHS reaches 1.94 million EGP.

Al-Arab Al-Sewedy Group, the local distributor for Chinese brand JAC in Egypt, has announced a new financing offer allowing customers to purchase vehicles with a down payment starting at just 10% of the total car value. The offer coincides with the brand's official launch in the local market and is part of a series of surprises planned for the first week of its debut.

Financing Offer Details and Repayment Terms

Installments extend up to 10 years. That's the core of the offer aimed at attracting more customers as JAC begins its journey in the Egyptian market, allowing buyers to spread the remaining amount after the down payment over a period that could reach a full decade. Will this offer convince buyers? The numbers alone will tell.

Al-Arab Al-Sewedy had officially introduced 4 new JAC models in Egypt during a launch event held at Salah El-Din Citadel, ranging from petrol-powered SUVs to plug-in hybrid models.

JAC J5: The Brand's Most Affordable Model in Egypt

JAC J5 is positioned as the lowest-priced model in the Chinese brand's lineup in Egypt, available in two trim levels. The first Urban trim is priced at around 1.195 million EGP, while the second Elite trim reaches 1.325 million EGP.

The car relies on a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 158 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque, mated to a CVT transmission with front-wheel drive.

JAC J7 and J7 SHS: Petrol and Hybrid Options

JAC J7 petrol version is offered in the Egyptian market in two trim levels, with the first Elite trim priced at around 1.495 million EGP, while the higher Premium trim reaches 1.645 million EGP. The car uses a 1.5-liter TGDI turbo engine generating 197 horsepower and 290 Nm of maximum torque, connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch DCT transmission with front-wheel drive.

JAC J7 SHS is presented as the plug-in hybrid version of the J7, available in Egypt in a single Smart trim at an official price of 1.94 million EGP. The car relies on a hybrid powertrain combining a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine with an electric motor. This system provides higher fuel efficiency, an important factor amid rising petrol prices.

The new offer could change the game in Egypt's Chinese car market, especially with strong competition from brands like Chery, MG, and Geely. But the real question: can JAC maintain its competitive prices with such a generous offer?
