JAC RF8 Launches in Egypt: Seven Seats, Hybrid Power, EGP 2.795 Million

Al Qasrawy Group, the official distributor of JAC in Egypt, has launched the all-new JAC RF8, the brand's first seven-seat MPV in the local market, priced at EGP 2,795,000 for the single available trim. The move brings a fresh plug-in hybrid option to the family-oriented people-carrier segment, which has seen declining demand in recent years but remains a key battleground for spacious, tech-rich vehicles.

Dimensions and Design of the JAC RF8

Size matters here. The JAC RF8 stretches 5,215 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,830 mm in height, with a 3,100 mm wheelbase that translates into generous cabin space across three rows. The design clearly prioritizes passenger comfort, highlighted by second-row captain's chairs with electric adjustment, heating, ventilation, and massage functions. It's a layout built for families who spend long hours on the road.

Under the hood, the JAC RF8 pairs a conventional engine with an electric motor for a combined 416 hp and 745 Nm of torque. The plug-in hybrid system delivers a total range of 1,150 km, with up to 150 km of pure electric driving. A fast charger can replenish the battery from 30 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes.

Cabin Tech and Safety Features

The interior is packed with equipment. Two 12.3-inch screens dominate the dashboard, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12-speaker sound system, wireless phone charging, 64-color ambient lighting, a panoramic roof, and window blinds. Front seats are heated and ventilated, the driver's seat has electric adjustment with memory. Automatic climate control extends to rear vents.

Safety tech is equally comprehensive on the JAC RF8. The suite includes automatic emergency braking (AEB), forward collision warning (FCW), lane keeping assist (LKA), lane departure warning (LDW), adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, door open warning, driver attention monitoring, 360-degree cameras with a 540-degree underbody view, front and rear parking sensors, airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, hill start assist, and child seat anchors.

The RF8 is now available at JAC dealerships across Egypt in a single trim, positioning it directly against other large family vehicles and signaling the brand's push into the growing hybrid family segment that continues to attract local buyers.
