Ferrari Luce EV: First Electric Model from the Prancing Horse at EGP 33 Million
Ferrari has officially unveiled its first fully electric production model, the Ferrari Luce EV 2027, marking the beginning of a new era for the legendary Italian marque known for its supercars. The model is expected to hit European markets before the end of this year.
Segment and Performance
The Luce belongs to the luxury four-door sports car segment and is powered by four electric motors delivering a combined output of up to 1,035 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful models ever to wear the Prancing Horse badge.
Ferrari Luce Electric Pricing
The new electric Ferrari is expected to start at around 550,000 euros, equivalent to approximately EGP 33.4 million, positioning it firmly in the ultra-luxury electric vehicle segment.
A Design Unlike Any Previous Ferrari
Ferrari collaborated with LoveFrom, the design firm led by legendary designer Jony Ive alongside Marc Newson, to develop the Luce's distinctive look, resulting in a design unlike any previous Ferrari. The car features an all-aluminum body built on a dedicated EV platform, with center-opening doors, a wide tailgate, and more storage space than typical Ferrari models.
The Luce measures approximately 197.9 inches in length and stands about two inches lower than the Purosangue. The cabin is integrated into the body to enhance aerodynamics, which Ferrari claims is the best in the history of its road-legal cars.
Cabin Blending Luxury and Technology
The interior blends digital and traditional elements, featuring OLED screens and digital gauges designed to mimic classic analog dials. The central display shows speed and other key driving data.
