Ez El Arab Group, the local distributor of Volvo in Egypt, has announced the availability of the EX30 electric SUV at a starting price of EGP 1.79 million, making it the most affordable Volvo model in the local market. The vehicle features a fully electric powertrain and joins the compact SUV segment.

Performance and Powertrain

Performance specs vary by trim. The Plus and Ultra trims come with a single electric motor producing 272 horsepower and 343 Nm of torque, with rear-wheel drive. The range-topping Ultra Twin Motor adds a second motor for all-wheel drive, delivering a combined 428 horsepower and 543 Nm.

Impressive numbers. The top trim accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 180 km/h across all variants. This makes the Volvo EX30 a serious contender in the premium electric crossover space.
