Arabiat Egypt, the exclusive distributor of KGM in Egypt, has announced new price increases on the Torres 2026 model ranging between EGP 25,000 and EGP 44,000. The move affects five trim levels of the Korean compact SUV, according to the newly issued price list.
KGM Torres 2026 Prices in the Egyptian Market
Under the updated list, the Comfort trim now costs EGP 1,610,000, the Advance trim reached EGP 1,745,000, and the Premium trim hit EGP 1,875,000. Those figures place the Torres firmly in the mid-range SUV segment.
The Luxury and Black Edition trims both came in at EGP 1,024,000, marking increases of EGP 44,000 and EGP 25,000 respectively. These adjustments land as Egyptian car prices continue to face upward pressure.
KGM Torres 2026 Specs: Turbo Engine and Strong Output
Powering the KGM Torres is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo engine producing 163 hp and 280 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed transmission. That powertrain delivers a balance of performance and efficiency that appeals to a broad range of Egyptian buyers.
The cabin and interior design have been fully updated with a panoramic instrument cluster and data display that adds a striking visual touch, alongside interior ambient lighting. The gear shifter has also been redesigned to work via touch, a notable leap for Korean Torres models, and a new distinctive Latte color has been added across updated trims.
Premium and Luxury Trims: Premium Equipment
Arabiat Egypt also introduced the new Torres Premium trim, which brings luxury equipment including a sunroof, electric tailgate opening and closing, and a two-tone white and gray interior finish. These additions target buyers seeking a higher level of refinement.
The KGM Torres Luxury trim, now on offer, has been developed with added rain sensors, light sensors, and dimming mirrors. Such features strengthen the top trim's value proposition against increasingly fierce competition in the compact SUV space.
The new price increases reflect cost pressures facing Egyptian distributors, yet they also place the Torres in direct contention with strong rivals in the compact SUV class. Will KGM hold its market share after this hike? The coming sales figures will tell.
