KGM Torres 2026 Gets EGP 25,000 Price Hike in Egypt
Arabiat, KGM's Egyptian distributor, has raised KGM Torres 2026 prices by EGP 25,000 on most trims and EGP 44,000 on the Luxury trim. The new range starts at EGP 1,610,000 and reaches EGP 2,024,000. The Torres keeps its 1.5-liter turbo engine with 163 hp and 280 Nm, mated to a 6-speed automatic. The hike reflects ongoing market adjustments in Egypt's import-dependent auto sector.
Arabiat, the local distributor for KGM in Egypt, has announced a price increase for the KGM Torres 2026, raising most trims by EGP 25,000 in October. The move came through a new price list issued by the company. Four trims received the EGP 25,000 bump, while the Luxury trim jumped EGP 44,000. It's a routine market adjustment.
New Pricing Across Torres 2026 Trims
The Comfort trim now costs EGP 1,610,000, up from EGP 1,585,000. Advance reached EGP 1,745,000 from EGP 1,720,000. Premium climbed to EGP 1,875,000 from EGP 1,850,000. Luxury hit EGP 2,024,000 from EGP 1,980,000 — a rise of EGP 44,000. Black edition settled at EGP 2,024,000, up from EGP 1,999,000. Every trim moved upward.
KGM Torres 2026 Keeps Its Powertrain
The price changes left the mechanical package untouched. The KGM Torres 2026 runs a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 163 hp and 280 Nm of torque. It pairs with a 6-speed automatic transmission, optional all-wheel drive, and returns 13.7 km per liter. This engine family already serves the KGM Korando crossover.
Cabin Features and Interior Layout
The cabin retains chrome accents and leather touches. Torres 2026 features leather upholstery, a 9-inch touchscreen. A center console display for climate and drive modes. The steering wheel has a squared design, leather cover, and multi-function buttons. A 12.3-inch screen is available, along with second-row vents and wireless charging. Practicality remains a strong point.
Luggage Space and Cargo Flexibility
Rear cargo capacity is split at 703 liters, extendable to 839 liters with the parcel shelf removed. Folding the second row opens up 1,662 liters. That last figure gives the KGM Torres 2026 substantial storage for its class. Families will find the flexibility useful.
Market Context and Impact of the Hike
The increase lands as Egypt's auto market absorbs exchange-rate swings and import costs. The Luxury trim's EGP 44,000 jump stands out from the rest. KGM prices for the Torres 2026 now start at EGP 1,610,000 and top out at EGP 2,024,000. Some buyers may weigh alternatives or the used market. Yet the KGM Torres remains a contender in the mid-size crossover segment.
