EIT, the official distributor of Kia in Egypt, has announced the launch of the 2027 Kia Sportage in the local market. The move comes as the company continues to offer other Kia models as 2025 or 2026 versions, reflecting a phased update strategy for its lineup.

Uniform Price Hikes Across All Trims

The 2027 Kia Sportage has seen a uniform price increase of EGP 25,000 across all five trim levels. The updated prices are as follows: LX at EGP 1,824,900, EX at EGP 1,924,900, Highline at EGP 2,074,900, Premium at EGP 2,299,900, and GT Line at EGP 2,399,900. This consistent pricing structure indicates the distributor's effort to maintain a balanced price hierarchy across the range.

Turbo Engine and Generous Dimensions

The 2027 Sportage continues to be powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine producing 180 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The SUV measures 4,540 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, and 1,645 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,680 mm. It rides on wheels ranging from 17 to 19 inches, finished with chrome accents that enhance its sporty and premium appearance.

Market Positioning in Egypt

With these new prices, the Kia Sportage 2027 remains a strong contender in Egypt's compact SUV segment, competing directly with models such as the Hyundai Tucson and Nissan Qashqai. The model is expected to retain its loyal customer base thanks to its modern design and advanced features.

Kia continues to strengthen its presence in the Egyptian market by regularly updating its lineup, focusing on vehicles that combine performance with attractive styling. The Sportage remains one of the brand's best-selling models in the region, known for its reliability and family-oriented practicality.
