US Dollar Price in Egyptian Banks Mid-Trading Sunday
The US dollar exchange rate remained relatively stable against the Egyptian pound during mid-trading on Sunday. Movement is limited across major banks, with traders watching closely for any potential shifts in the coming period.
Dollar Prices in Egyptian Banks
The Central Bank of Egypt recorded the highest level for the American currency, with the buying price reaching 51.07 EGP while the selling price hit 51.21 EGP. These figures reflect clear stability compared to previous sessions.
The National Bank of Egypt recorded a buying price of 50.65 EGP and a selling price of 50.75 EGP. A slight gap separates the state-owned bank from the central bank in the local market.
Banque Misr offered a dollar buying price of 50.63 EGP, with the selling price at 50.73 EGP. The numbers are nearly identical to the National Bank's transactions.
Market Watch
The Commercial International Bank (CIB) recorded a buying price of 50.60 EGP and a selling price of 50.70 EGP. The difference between the highest and lowest prices in the market doesn't exceed half a pound for buying operations.
Exchange rate stability supports the local market movement. Sunday's transactions reflect a cautious stance before any unexpected moves by the American currency.
