Most Cairo and Giza road corridors saw relative order and smooth flow, with moving congestion and slower car movement at several key points. The morning peak hours brought heavier loads, prompting traffic services to deploy across the capital and governorates to ensure citizen safety and guide drivers toward alternative routes.

Traffic in Cairo

October Bridge and the Shahid Axis witnessed smooth traffic, but the Nile Corniche slowed for those heading from Maspero to El-Mazalat. The Ring Road also saw slowdowns for drivers coming from Zakat Foundation toward El-Marg, from El-Basateen to Autostrad. From Autostrad toward New Cairo and El-Tagamoa. The numbers tell the story.

Ramses, Ein Shams, and downtown Cairo saw smooth flow, as did Nasr City, Heliopolis, Shubra, and the Foundation. Salah Salem Axis maintained steady traffic except for heavy congestion near the Central Audit Authority and Abour Buildings during the morning rush, followed by an easing on El-Obour and Airport Road. Shubra and El-Ter'a El-Bolaqeya areas stayed fluid all the way to El-Amirya and El-Waily.

Traffic in Giza

Car movement normalized in Dokki, Agouza. Mohandessin, though 26th of July Axis backed up for those coming from the Desert Road toward Lebanon Square. Heavy congestion appeared in Sphinx and Mostafa Mahmoud Squares. Giza's October districts ran smoothly, while Sheikh Zayed and Wahat Road enjoyed free-flowing traffic.

High-density congestion hit Faisal Street's El-Tawabek area and the pyramid–Maryouteya intersection due to construction work on metro stations in El-Talbia, El-Eshreen, El-Masaha, and Saft El-Laban, along with stations around Giza. Traffic services monitor movement through surveillance cameras linked to the operations room, backed by field units spread across main roads and squares.
