Government Car Auction for Red Sea and Minya Prosecutions Kicks Off August 24
A decisive date awaits those seeking to own used government vehicles. Egypt's General Authority for Government Services has announced the launch of a new public auction featuring vehicles from the prosecution offices in the Red Sea and Minya governorates, with the session scheduled for August 24 at exactly noon. The auction brings together a wide array of vehicles.
Vehicles on Offer at the Auction
An extensive list of global brands awaits bidders. The auction includes used passenger cars, pickup trucks, transport vehicles, microbuses, motorcycles, tuk-tuks, and loaders from manufacturers such as Nissan, BMW, Speranza, Mazda, and Kia.
Yet the variety goes even further. Buyers will find Fiat, Nasr, Chevrolet, Ford, Daewoo, SsangYong, and Mitsubishi models.
Premium marques make a strong appearance in this auction. The lineup includes Land Rover, Toyota, Hyundai, and Honda, alongside Mercedes, Peugeot, Lada, Volkswagen, Audi, Daihatsu, and Isuzu. Heavy-duty vehicles include Bajaj two-wheelers and Scania trucks.
Auction Terms and Venue
The venue is set and the financial details are unambiguous. The auction will take place at the Al Hadarat Sports Club hall on Salah Salem Street, opposite the Ain El Sira traffic office in Cairo, with an entry deposit of EGP 50,000. The winning bidder must pay 30% of the vehicle's price immediately upon the hammer falling, with the remaining balance due within 15 days.
Additional paperwork is required before participating. Interested buyers must obtain the conditions and specifications booklet from the General Authority for Government Services headquarters, located in the Ministry of Finance towers on Ramses Street extension, Building 2. A rare opportunity to acquire vehicles at competitive prices, but preparation is key.
