It places a strong emphasis on partnering with the private sector and enhancing the investment climate. The seven priority industries include automotive, ready-made garments, textiles, food and pharmaceuticals, electrical and engineering equipment, and electronics. Additionally, the strategy highlights enabling industries such as renewable energy and solar equipment, water conservation technologies, machinery, metal manufacturing, and industrial robotics, alongside strategic sectors like steel, aluminum, chemicals, building materials, and fertilizers.
Energy Transition and Digital Industrial Upgrades

A new digital platform is also being prepared to serve investors and streamline complaint handling.
Empowering SMEs and Optimizing the Investment Climate
The ministry is also focused on implementing the Productive Villages program in Upper Egypt, supporting small and medium enterprises by integrating them into industrial supply chains, and establishing a center of excellence for vocational training to qualify technical labor according to global standards. Efforts are underway to develop mechanisms for allocating industrial land and issuing licenses, launch new industrial investment funds to finance promising projects, and expand e-commerce and green supply chains to enhance the competitiveness of Egyptian products in global markets. Concluding his remarks, the minister emphasized the critical importance of human capital as the foundation of the entire industrial ecosystem.
