The US dollar held a relatively stable position against the Egyptian pound during midday trading on Tuesday, across the country's major banks. The spread between buying and selling rates in most banks doesn't exceed 10 piastres, signaling a calm in the foreign exchange market. Traders are closely monitoring any potential shifts in the American currency in the coming period.

Dollar Rates at the Central Bank of Egypt, National Bank of Egypt, and Banque Misr

The Central Bank of Egypt recorded a rate of 50.75 EGP for buying and 50.89 EGP for selling. That spread reaches 14 piastres, making it the widest among the banks listed here. At the National Bank of Egypt, the dollar settled at 50.67 EGP for buying and 50.77 EGP for selling, a difference of just 10 piastres.

Banque Misr offers a very similar rate, reaching 50.69 EGP for buying and 50.79 EGP for selling. All indicators suggest the market is moving on the price of a new car.
