Soueast has raised prices across its entire lineup in Egypt through local distributor Man East, with increases ranging from EGP 20,000 to EGP 50,000. The move affects six models, including two hybrid variants. Comes amid ongoing volatility in the Egyptian automotive market. Every model continues to carry a six-year or 150,000 km warranty.
Soueast S06 DM Hybrid: EGP 40,000 Increase
The Soueast S06 DM hybrid now costs EGP 1,689,000, up from EGP 1,649,000. That represents a EGP 40,000 jump in the October update. The hybrid variant remains positioned in Egypt's growing electric and hybrid segment, where Chinese brands are fighting for market share.
Soueast S08 DM Hybrid: EGP 50,000 Increase
The single trim of the Soueast S08 DM hybrid recorded the largest increase on the list. Its new price is EGP 1,849,000, up from EGP 1,799,000. That is a full EGP 50,000 hike, the highest among all models included in the adjustment. The model targets families seeking a larger hybrid alternative.
Soueast S05 and S06: Moderate Hikes
The Highline trim of the Soueast S05 rose to EGP 1,090,000 from EGP 1,070,000, a EGP 20,000 increase. The white version with a black roof is available for an additional EGP 15,000. For the Soueast S06, the Highline trim hit EGP 1,370,000 from EGP 1,350,000, while the Premium reached EGP 1,510,000 from EGP 1,485,000, a EGP 25,000 increase.
Soueast S07 and S09: EGP 20,000 to 25,000 Increases
The Soueast S07 received a EGP 25,000 increase across both trims. The Highline reached EGP 1,415,000 from EGP 1,390,000. The Premium came in at EGP 1,555,000 from EGP 1,530,000. Meanwhile, the Soueast S09 saw a EGP 20,000 increase, bringing its price to EGP 1,620,000 from EGP 1,600,000.
What Does This Mean for Egyptian Buyers?
The new increases land at a sensitive moment. Egypt's car market faces persistent price pressure from currency fluctuations and import costs. Soueast is trying to balance profit margins against staying competitive with other Chinese brands. The six-year warranty remains one of its strongest bargaining chips with local buyers. The local distributor is the sole reference for final pricing, and figures remain subject to market conditions.
