Last Egyptian-Made Lada Granta: Full Prices and Specifications
A segment of used car buyers in Egypt is searching for the final version of the Lada Granta small family sedan, which enjoyed widespread popularity before production ceased in mid-2023. The last Granta model was locally assembled at Al Amal automotive company, the local distributor for the Russian brand in Egypt.
Used Lada Granta Prices
The final Egyptian-made Lada Granta is now available on the used car market at an average price ranging from 450,000 to 550,000 Egyptian pounds, depending on the vehicle's condition after a technical inspection. This price range positions the Granta as an attractive option for budget-conscious families seeking an economical sedan, especially given the model's strong reputation in the Egyptian market.
Engine Performance and Specifications
The Lada Granta is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine producing 90 horsepower and 140 Nm of torque at 3,800 rpm in the version equipped with a five-speed manual transmission. A higher-output variant of the same engine delivers 98 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, offering drivers flexible performance options to suit different driving preferences.
Dimensions and Interior Space
The Lada Granta measures 4.26 meters in total length, with a wheelbase of 2.47 meters, a width of 1.70 meters, and a height of 1.50 meters. These dimensions provide a reasonably spacious interior for a compact sedan, making it suitable for daily family use and urban commuting.
Safety Features and Equipment
The base trim of the Granta is equipped with an ABS anti-lock braking system, EBD electronic brake-force distribution, BAS brake assist, and a driver airbag. Higher trims add a passenger airbag for improved occupant protection. In terms of interior features, the entry-level version includes front power windows, central door locking, tinted rear windows, a USB-compatible audio system, 14-inch steel wheels, and headlight level adjustment. The higher-spec trim adds Bluetooth connectivity, automatic air conditioning, an anti-theft alarm system, front fog lamps, and side mirror turn signals, making it more refined than the base model.
