Haval Raises Prices Again Within 10 Days, Increases Up to EGP 30,000
GB Auto has announced a second round of price increases for Haval in Egypt within 10 days, ranging from EGP 25,000 to EGP 30,000. The Haval H6 2026 rose by EGP 30,000, the H7 2027 by EGP 25,000, and the locally assembled Jolion by EGP 25,000 per trim. The move comes amid a broader wave of price hikes affecting Hyundai, Toyota, and Fiat in the Egyptian market.
GB Auto, the local distributor for Haval in Egypt, has announced a fresh round of price increases across several models, ranging from EGP 25,000 to EGP 30,000. This is the second increase in less than 10 days. The Haval H6 2026 model year rose by EGP 30,000, now starting at EGP 1,340,000 for the Platinum trim, while the Ultra trim reaches EGP 1,530,000. The second hike in just over a week underscores renewed pressure on the Egyptian market.
Details on Haval H6 and H7 Increases
The Haval H6 2026 received a EGP 30,000 increase. Its new price starts at EGP 1,340,000 for the Platinum trim and goes up to EGP 1,530,000 for the Ultra. The Haval H7 2027 model year saw a EGP 25,000 increase, now priced at EGP 1,765,000 for the Ultra Black Edition. That features a hybrid powertrain. These increases apply to specific trims only.
Locally Assembled Jolion Also Affected
The increases also hit the locally assembled Haval Jolion 2027 by EGP 25,000 per trim. The car is offered in three trims: Standard at EGP 1,025,000, Deluxe at EGP 1,080,000. High Deluxe at EGP 1,180,000. Local assembly gives Jolion a relative price advantage, but the latest increase has raised its cost.
Market Context and Competition
This second increase in October follows a first hike just 10 days earlier. Haval isn't alone; Hyundai, Toyota, and Fiat have all raised prices recently. Egypt's car market faces pressure from exchange rates and import costs. The consecutive increases may push some buyers toward used Jolion models as an alternative. The distributor has not announced any equipment changes.
Haval has raised prices twice in 10 days. The second increase covered the H6, H7, and Jolion. The market now watches for a possible third hike. Updated Haval prices are available from the distributor.
