Haval H6, H7 and Jolion Prices Increase in Egypt — New Price List Revealed
GB Auto, Haval's distributor in Egypt, has raised prices for three models in October. The H6 and H7 increased by EGP 10,000 and EGP 15,000 respectively, while the Jolion saw hikes of EGP 14,000 to EGP 20,000 across its trims. The new V7 held its ground at EGP 1,825,000 for the base trim.
GB Auto, the official distributor of Haval in Egypt, has announced price hikes across three of its models for October, affecting the H6, H7, and Jolion. The increases range from EGP 10,000 to EGP 20,000 depending on the variant, while the new V7 remains unchanged. The move reflects ongoing volatility in the Egyptian market, where import costs and currency fluctuations continue to pressure pricing. For buyers, it means higher entry points for some of Haval's most popular crossovers.
Haval H6: EGP 10,000 added to both trims
The Haval H6 now starts at EGP 1,310,000 for the first trim, up from EGP 1,300,000, while the second trim is priced at EGP 1,500,000, up from EGP 1,490,000. Both trims carry a 1.5-litre engine producing 181 hp and 275 Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels. Front suspension is MacPherson strut, while the rear uses a multi-link setup. The fuel tank holds 61 litres. These specs keep the H6 competitive in the mid-size crossover segment, but the higher price could test buyer loyalty.
Haval H7: EGP 15,000 increase for the sole trim
The Haval H7 in its Ultra Black Edition guise now costs EGP 1,740,000, up from EGP 1,725,000 — a EGP 15,000 jump. That puts it in direct contention with several well-established mid-size SUVs. Still, the H7's positioning as a sportier alternative may appeal to those willing to pay the premium.
Haval Jolion: increases of up to EGP 20,000
The Haval Jolion saw its three trims adjusted upward. The Standard now starts at EGP 999,000 instead of EGP 985,000, a EGP 14,000 increase. The Deluxe is now EGP 1,055,000, up from EGP 1,035,000. The High Deluxe reaches EGP 1,155,000, up from EGP 1,135,000 — both reflecting EGP 20,000 hikes. These changes place the Jolion closer to the EGP 1 million mark, a psychological barrier for many Egyptian buyers.
Haval V7 holds steady
While the three models moved up, the Haval V7 remains unchanged. The first trim is still EGP 1,825,000, and the second trim stays at EGP 2,100,000. That stability might be part of a strategy to keep the V7 attractive in the premium bracket, but it also raises questions about whether Haval will adjust it later if market pressures persist.
