Gamil Motors Raises GAC EMPOW Prices by Up to EGP 25,000

Gamil Motors, the official distributor of GAC in Egypt, has increased the prices of the GAC EMPOW by EGP 20,000 to EGP 25,000 depending on the trim level. The move affects three variants, pushing the range-topping S-Style to EGP 1,320,000. The increase is effective immediately.

New Pricing Across GAC EMPOW Trim Levels

The Elegance trim now costs EGP 1,095,000, up from EGP 1,075,000 — a modest EGP 20,000 hike. Stepping up, the Premium variant rose by EGP 25,000, moving from EGP 1,189,000 to EGP 1,214,000. At the top, the S-Style trim climbed from EGP 1,295,000 to EGP 1,320,000, also a EGP 25,000 increase. The gap between trims remains relatively tight.

Market Context and Buyer Impact

This price adjustment comes amid ongoing currency fluctuations and rising import costs that have repeatedly reshaped GAC prices in the Egyptian market. The Elegance trim is now inching closer to the EGP 1 million mark. That could prompt some buyers to reconsider their options in the compact sedan segment. Yet the market has grown accustomed to such revisions.
