GAC Cars Get New Price Hike in Egypt This October
GAC has increased prices on three models in Egypt — the GS4 MAX, Empow 2027 and GS3 EMZOOM — in its October price list. Increases range from EGP 14,000 to EGP 25,000 depending on model and trim. The 5-year or 150,000 km warranty remains unchanged. The new pricing applies to 2027 model year vehicles in the listed trims.
GAC has raised prices on three of its core models in Egypt by between EGP 14,000 and EGP 25,000, according to a new price list issued by the brand's local distributor for October. The hike covers the GS4 MAX, the GAC Empow, and the GAC GS3 EMZOOM. All three continue to carry a 5-year or 150,000 km warranty, whichever comes first.
GAC Empow 2027 Prices Rise Across All Trims
Every GAC Empow 2027 trim now costs more. The Elegance variant moved to EGP 1,095,000 from EGP 1,075,000 — a EGP 20,000 increase. Premium climbed to EGP 1,214,000 versus EGP 1,189,000, up EGP 25,000. Sport line reached EGP 1,320,000 after sitting at EGP 1,295,000, also up EGP 25,000.
For the GS4 MAX, the Elegance trim is now priced at EGP 1,336,000, up from EGP 1,350,000 — a EGP 14,000 increase. That is the smallest jump on the list, yet it confirms the adjustment reached every model in the GAC lineup for October.
GAC GS3 EMZOOM 2027: Full Trim-by-Trim Breakdown
The GAC GS3 EMZOOM Comfort now starts at EGP 1,014,000, up from EGP 994,000 — a EGP 20,000 increase. Elegance is listed at EGP 1,129,000 versus EGP 1,109,000, also up EGP 20,000. Premium jumped to EGP 1,214,000 from EGP 1,189,000, a EGP 25,000 rise. The R-Style trim climbed to EGP 1,320,000 from EGP 1,295,000, up EGP 25,000.
Increases range from EGP 14,000 to EGP 25,000 depending on model and trim, reflecting cost pressures facing distributors in the Egyptian market. Despite the hike, GAC keeps its extended 5-year or 150,000 km warranty, a competitive edge the brand leans on locally.
Buyers shopping this price bracket have alternatives across the Egyptian market, and used GAC cars remain an option for those wanting the brand at a lower entry point. The new pricing applies to the 2027 model year and covers the trims listed above only.
