Dipal Prices Rise up to EGP 50,000 for the Second Time in 10 Days
G.B. Auto has applied a second price increase to Dipal S05, S07, and G318 models within less than 10 days, with hikes ranging from EGP 35,000 to EGP 50,000. The S05 REEV now starts at EGP 1.66 million, the S07 REEV at EGP 1.975 million, and the G318 recorded the largest jump of EGP 50,000 to reach EGP 2.135 million. The move reflects a wider wave of price increases among Chinese brands in the Egyptian market.
Dipal prices in Egypt have risen again, with parent distributor G.B. Auto applying new hikes of up to EGP 50,000 to the S05, S07, and G318 models. It's the second increase in less than 10 days this October, pushing the cheapest Dipal variant to EGP 1.66 million. The raises ranged between EGP 35,000 and EGP 50,000 across the lineup.
Dipal S05 Leads with EGP 35,000 Increase
Both versions of the Dipal S05 — the fully electric BEV and the range-extended REEV — climbed by EGP 35,000 each. The REEV now starts at EGP 1.66 million, up from EGP 1.625 million, while the BEV version reached EGP 1.81 million compared to EGP 1.775 million in the previous price list. The increase applied evenly across both powertrains.
Dipal S07 2026 Model Joins the Wave
The 2026 Dipal S07 was also included in the new pricing update. Its REEV variant recorded EGP 1.975 million. The fully electric BEV reached EGP 2.065 million according to the latest list. The S07 remains positioned in the mid-premium electric SUV segment. No variant escaped the update.
Dipal G318 Records the Biggest Jump at EGP 50,000
The Dipal G318 absorbed the largest increase among the three models. The Premium REEV trim rose by EGP 50,000 to EGP 2.135 million. The Adventure REEV climbed by the same amount to EGP 2.285 million. Both off-road-oriented trims were affected equally. This makes the G318 the most impacted model in the latest round.
Egyptian Market Context: Chinese Brands Keep Climbing
Two price hikes in under 10 days signal sustained pressure on Chinese-brand pricing in Egypt. Dipal prices now start at EGP 1.66 million for the entry model, placing the brand in direct competition with other electric and hybrid offerings. The move follows similar increases from BYD, Haval. Hyundai, pointing to a broader upward trend across imported and electrified vehicles in the local market.
What It Means for Buyers
Back-to-back increases within 10 days make Dipal one of the most active brands on pricing this October. Buyers eyeing a Dipal model now face cumulative hikes of EGP 35,000 to EGP 50,000 per wave. Given the pace of adjustments, further moves can't be ruled out in the near term. Tracking the price list closely is essential for anyone planning a purchase soon.
