Citroen Raises Egypt Prices by Up to EGP 34,000 in October

Citroen has announced new prices for the Egyptian market, with increases ranging from EGP 10,000 to EGP 34,000 during October. The hike affected four main models, while the locally SKD-assembled C4 X held steady. The decision came from Qasrawi Group, the local distributor of the French brand.

Citroen C3 Aircross: EGP 29,000 Increase

The Citroen C3 Aircross 2027 model year rose by EGP 29,000, pushing the Plus trim to EGP 1,149,000. That is the second-largest increase on the list after the C5 Aircross. The most popular trim in this price bracket absorbed a heavy share of the hike. It still sits within reach for a wide slice of buyers compared with rivals.

Citroen C4 and C5 Aircross: Mixed Moves

The Citroen C4 2027 model year added EGP 10,000, with the Shine trim now at EGP 1,535,000. The Citroen C5 Aircross gained EGP 24,000 on the entry Advanced trim, bringing it to EGP 1,719,000. The Ultimate trim rose by EGP 34,000 to EGP 1,969,000. The figures show clear pressure on the brand's upper tier.

What about the C4 X? Citroen kept prices for the C4 X SKD-assembled model unchanged, with the Feel 2026 trim starting at EGP 1,290,000 and the Shine at EGP 1,420,000. That stability gives the C4 X a clear edge inside the showroom. Buyers hunting for value will find it here.

The new hikes land as Egypt's market sees repeated price rises across multiple brands in October. Citroen prices now leave a wider gap between trims. The smallest came on the C4 at just EGP 10,000. That gap suggests the distributor is treating each model separately based on demand and stock levels.
