Changan has increased prices for three models in Egypt for the second time this October, with the CS75 Plus 2027 rising by EGP 30,000 to start at EGP 1,520,000. The CS55 Plus went up by EGP 15,000, bringing the first trim to EGP 1,160,000, while the UNI-V Flagship rose by EGP 15,000. The CS35 Plus held its prices unchanged, as the market continues to face cost pressures.
Changan has raised the prices of three of its models in the Egyptian market for the second time this October, signaling intensifying cost pressures across the automotive sector. The latest round pushed the Changan CS75 Plus 2027 imported model up by EGP 30,000, bringing the Elite trim to EGP 1,520,000 from EGP 1,490,000. The Flagship trim now stands at EGP 1,670,000, up from EGP 1,640,000. The numbers are clear.
Changan CS55 Plus Sees Second Increase
The Changan CS55 Plus 2027 also received a EGP 15,000 hike across both available trims in Egypt. The first trim is now priced at EGP 1,160,000, up from EGP 1,145,000, while the second trim climbed to EGP 1,290,000 from EGP 1,275,000. Another increase in a single month. This compact crossover is one of Changan's best-selling models locally. Any price movement draws close attention from buyers.
Some Models Hold Steady as UNI-V Edges Up
The Changan CS35 Plus 2026 imported model stayed off this round's increase list. Its Elite trim remains at EGP 1,049,000, Premium at EGP 1,149,000, and Flagship at EGP 1,249,000. But the Changan UNI-V 2026 imported model saw its Flagship trim rise by EGP 15,000 to EGP 1,365,000 from EGP 1,350,000. The UNI-T held firm, with trims at EGP 1,399,000 and EGP 1,499,000 respectively. A mixed pricing strategy.
Eado and Eado Plus Updated Prices
On the sedan front, the Changan Eado now starts at EGP 875,000 for the first trim and EGP 925,000 for the second. The Eado Plus is priced at EGP 1,049,000, EGP 1,100,000, and EGP 1,200,000 across its three trims. The sedan segment is under growing pressure.
What the Second Increase Means for Buyers
Two hikes in under a month sends a clear signal: Changan prices in Egypt are climbing fast, pushing many buyers to reassess their purchase plans or explore the used-car market. With exchange rates and import costs still volatile, the key question remains: will these increases pause before year-end?
