Volvo Raises Prices on Four Models in Egypt, EX30 Unchanged
Volvo has raised prices on four models in Egypt effective 25 October, with increases between EGP 30,000 and EGP 50,000. The EX90, XC40, XC90 facelift and ES90 all moved higher, while the EX30 and XC60 kept their existing pricing. All models carry a 3-year unlimited-kilometre warranty and an 8-year battery warranty.
Volvo has raised prices on four of its models in the Egyptian market effective 25 October, with increases ranging from EGP 30,000 to EGP 50,000 depending on the variant. The move covers a specific group of vehicles while leaving others untouched. The Volvo EX90 led the increases with a EGP 50,000 jump to EGP 4,950,000 from EGP 4,900,000. The top-end electric SUV absorbed the largest single adjustment in the lineup.
Which Volvo Models Got More Expensive
The Volvo XC40 moved across all three trims: the first from EGP 2,550,000 to EGP 2,590,000, the second from EGP 2,890,000 to EGP 2,930,000, and the third from EGP 3,050,000 to EGP 3,080,000. That is EGP 40,000, EGP 40,000 and EGP 30,000 respectively. The facelifted Volvo XC90 Ultra rose to EGP 4,990,000 from EGP 4,950,000, a EGP 40,000 increase, while the Volvo ES90 Ultra climbed to EGP 3,990,000 from EGP 3,950,000, also up EGP 40,000. Four models. One clear direction.
The Models That Held Their Ground
Not every Volvo moved. The EX30 electric crossover stayed at EGP 1,790,000, EGP 1,890,000 and EGP 1,990,000 across its three trims. That makes it the most accessible entry point in the local lineup. The Volvo XC60 held firm as well, with Essential at EGP 3,490,000, Ultimate Dark at EGP 3,790,000 and Black Edition at EGP 3,990,000. Stability where it matters most for volume.
Warranty and Service Packages
Every Volvo sold in Egypt comes with a 3-year unlimited-kilometre warranty and an 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty. Electric models add a free 3-year or 100,000 km service package, while XC models carry 3 years or 50,000 km. Those terms soften the blow of higher sticker prices for luxury buyers comparing options in a crowded segment.
The adjustments reflect a broader pattern in Egypt's Volvo pricing strategy, where currency swings and import costs force periodic reviews. Buyers now face a lineup where the gap between the EX30 entry point at EGP 1,790,000 and the XC90 flagship at EGP 4,990,000 spans more than EGP 3.2 million. The new prices are live as of 25 October.
