The official SEAT distributor in Egypt has announced new price cuts on the Ibiza hatchback for the local market this August, with discounts ranging from EGP 20,000 to EGP 40,000. The revised pricing puts the entry-level trim at EGP 1,129,000, a move that strengthens the Spanish model's position in the highly competitive compact segment.

SEAT Ibiza Trim Levels and New Prices

The updated price list reveals that SEAT Ibiza is available in two main trims in Egypt. The first, named Edge, now sells for EGP 1,129,000 after receiving a EGP 20,000 reduction from its previous price of EGP 1,149,000. The sportier FR trim saw a deeper cut of EGP 40,000, dropping from EGP 1,369,000 to its current price of EGP 1,329,000.

This price adjustment brings the supermini closer to a broader range of buyers, though it still sits at a premium over mainstream rivals. The EGP 200,000 gap between the two trims gives customers a clear choice between essential equipment and a more performance-oriented package.

Engine Specs and Performance Highlights

Under the hood, the 2027 model year Ibiza carries a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine producing 110 horsepower with a peak torque of 152 Nm. The unit is paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, allowing the car to reach a top speed of 190 km/h.

Performance numbers are respectable for the segment. The hatchback sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.8 seconds, while fuel consumption sits at a claimed 6.8 liters per 100 km. These figures position the SEAT as a balanced option for daily commuting and highway cruising alike.
