Kia Sportage 2027 Gets a Price Hike of Up to 25,000 EGP in Egypt

The Egyptian International Trading & Agencies Company (EIT), the official distributor of Kia in Egypt, has announced the launch of the 2027 Kia Sportage in the local market, with a price increase of up to 25,000 EGP across all trims.

The 2027 Kia Sportage is offered in five distinct trims, starting at EGP 1,824,900 for the base variant and reaching EGP 2,399,900 for the top-tier model. The official prices are as follows: First trim at EGP 1,824,900, second trim at EGP 1,924,900, third trim at EGP 2,074,900, fourth trim at EGP 2,299,900, and the fifth trim at EGP 2,399,900.

Engine and Performance Specifications

Under the hood, the new Sportage is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 180 horsepower and a peak torque of 265 Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission, ensuring smooth gear shifts and responsive acceleration for an engaging driving experience.

Exterior Dimensions and Cargo Space

The 2027 Kia Sportage measures 4,540 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, and 1,645 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,680 mm. It offers a generous 591-liter trunk capacity, while the ground clearance of 170 mm enhances its capability on rough roads.

Safety and Driver Assistance Features

Kia has equipped the Sportage with a comprehensive suite of safety systems, including anti-lock braking with electronic brake-force distribution, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring, hill-start and hill-descent control, brake assist, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold. Additional features include rear parking sensors, front and side airbags, curtain airbags, front parking sensors, blind-spot warning and display, forward collision avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, lane-tracking assist, and parking collision avoidance assist.

Interior Comfort and Technology

The cabin is packed with premium amenities such as advanced LED headlights with daytime running lights, front fog lights, tinted side and rear glass, roof rails, automatic headlights, and alloy wheels ranging from 17 to 19 inches depending on the trim. Inside, drivers are greeted by a 12.3-inch curved infotainment display with radio, six speakers, voice commands, and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include manual air conditioning with rear vents, a rear armrest with cup holders, cruise control, a rearview camera, a power panoramic sunroof, and a power tailgate with smart opening.
