Chery Egypt Raises Prices on 3 Models, Holds the Rest Steady for 2027 Lineup

Chery has released its 2027 model year price list for the Egyptian market. Only three vehicles got hit with increases. The Chery Arrizo 5 went up by 5,000 EGP, while the Tiggo 7 Pro and Tiggo 8 each rose by 10,000 EGP. Every other model in the lineup stayed exactly where it was.

Arrizo 5: The Smallest Bump on the List

The Arrizo 5 increase amounts to just 5,000 EGP. The base Basic trim now sits at 690,000 EGP, the CVT Basic at 735,000 EGP. The CVT Comfort at 775,000 EGP. Modest numbers, especially when stacked against the price waves that have rocked the market over the past year.

Meanwhile, the Chery Arrizo 6 GT held firm for 2027. Comfort trim stays at 899,000 EGP, Luxury at 999,000 EGP. Same story for the Arrizo 8. That continues into 2026 with two trims: Luxury at 1.3 million EGP and Flagship at 1.38 million EGP.

Tiggo 7 Pro and Tiggo 8: The 10,000 EGP Hike

The biggest moves came from the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro and the Chery Tiggo 8, both up by 10,000 EGP. The Tiggo 7 Pro Comfort now lists at 1.09 million EGP, with the Luxury at 1.19 million EGP. The Tiggo 8 Comfort 7-seater comes in at 1.18 million EGP, the Luxury 5-seater at 1.24 million EGP. The Luxury 7-seater at 1.28 million EGP.

No change for the Chery Tiggo 7. That stays at 1.01 million EGP for Comfort and 1.08 million EGP for Luxury. The Chery Tiggo 4 Pro also holds steady: Comfort at 899,000 EGP, Luxury at 939,000 EGP. Luxury Turbo at 999,000 EGP. The Tiggo 7 Pro Max remains at 1.32 million EGP for Comfort and 1.42 million EGP for Luxury, while the Tiggo 8 Pro Max sits at 1.62 million EGP for Luxury and 1.72 million EGP for Flagship.

What These Increases Mean for Egyptian Buyers

These hikes look tame compared to previous rounds. But they land at a tricky moment, with imported vehicle costs still under pressure. Chery chose to freeze most of its range and raise prices on just three models. That kind of selective strategy could give the Chinese brand an edge in the family SUV segment, especially with the Tiggo 8 offering seven seats from 1.18 million EGP.

Local distributors are caught in a tough spot. Raise prices and demand cools. Hold them steady and margins take the hit. The Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8 Pro Max kept their numbers unchanged, likely to defend market share. In a market where Chinese and European brands are fighting for the same buyers, holding a price steady might be the sharpest weapon of all.

Chery's 2027 list reflects a calculated play. Three models up, five unchanged. For Egyptian buyers tracking Chery car prices, some trims still offer decent value before the next round of adjustments hits.
