New BMW 7 Series Lands in Egypt at EGP 11.9 Million
Global Auto Group has announced the arrival of the new BMW 7 Series in Egypt at EGP 11.9 million for the 740i variant. The model features Neue Klasse technologies for the first time in the Egyptian market after the iX3, including a 31.3-inch Theatre Screen and a 575-watt Bowers & Wilkins sound system. The car strengthens competition in the luxury sedan segment against the Mercedes S-Class and Audi A8.
The new BMW 7 Series has officially arrived in Egypt at EGP 11.9 million for the 740i variant. Global Auto Group, the brand's official distributor, unveiled the model at the El Gouna Festival. It's the second BMW model in Egypt to feature Neue Klasse technologies after the iX3.
Futuristic design defines the new BMW 7 Series
The front grille is split into two sections with integrated BMW Iconic Glow lighting. LED headlights are smarter and more interactive than before, paired with a Welcome Light Carpet. Sport wheels range from 20 to 22 inches. The futuristic design reinforces the 7 Series presence in the luxury segment.
Advanced digital cockpit with Neue Klasse tech
The BMW Panoramic iDrive system combines a panoramic display across the windshield with a high-resolution 17.9-inch central screen. The BMW 3D Head-Up Display and a 14.6-inch front passenger screen are also included. A new steering wheel features ShyTech controls and BMW Operating System X. These features make the BMW 7 Series one of the most technologically advanced cars in its class.
Absolute rear-seat luxury
High-quality soft-touch materials include Merino leather seats and polished wood trim in several areas. A panoramic Sky Lounge roof is standard. The BMW Theatre Screen is a 31.3-inch 8K display that drops from the ceiling. A Bowers & Wilkins 3D surround system delivers 575 watts through 18 speakers. Rear seats offer an Executive Lounge position with a 42.5-degree recline behind the front seats. These specifications position the 7 Series at the top of the luxury sedan segment.
Pricing and competition in the Egyptian market
EGP 11.9 million is the price of the new 740i. This figure places the BMW 7 Series directly against the Mercedes S-Class and Audi A8. But Neue Klasse technologies may give it a clear competitive edge. Egypt's luxury car market is seeing increased activity despite economic challenges. BMW prices for the new 7 Series reflect the level of equipment and technical innovation.
What does the 7 Series arrival mean for Egypt?
The model represents a significant step for the distributor in offering the latest from the Bavarian brand. Neue Klasse technologies were previously reserved for global models. Now they are available in Egypt through BMW. Competition in the luxury sedan segment will heat up in the coming months. BMW is positioning itself as a technology leader with this move.
