Maserati has unveiled a one-off version of its GT2 Stradale, dubbed 'Tribute to MC12'. Built specifically for a customer in Taiwan, the car pays direct homage to the MC12 GT1 — a machine that carved a significant chapter in the Italian marque's endurance racing history.

A Single Car, Not a Limited Series

This isn't a limited edition with a set number of units. It's a single vehicle developed on demand through the 'Maserati Fuoriserie' personalization program, crafted in collaboration between the client and the design and engineering team in Modena, Italy.

The car was unveiled and handed over to its owner within the brand's historic headquarters in Modena. The experience included a visit to the 'Viale Ciro Menotti' factory and the 'Umberto Panini' collection, which houses some of the most important classic Maseratis.

Colors Inspired by MC12

The livery draws from the MC12 GT1 campaigned by 'Vitaphone Racing', which secured three victories at the Spa 24 Hours in 2005, 2006, and 2008, plus runner-up finishes in 2007 and 2009.

The car blends matte 'Digital Mint' green with 'Nero Essenza' black, accented by yellow touches named 'Giallo Avia Pervia'. A similar scheme appeared on the MC20 Leggenda in 2024, but Maserati has reinterpreted it here with a stronger connection to track equipment.

Yellow Badges and a Carbon Wing

The trident badge on the nose and side pillars gets a glossy yellow finish, along with the rear emblem. The 'Fuoriserie' badge on the rear fenders appears in the same green used for the exterior paint.

The large carbon-fiber rear wing carries the Maserati name in yellow, another nod to the race cars that inspired this build. Exposed carbon fiber also shows on the hood vents, front and rear openings, aerodynamic parts, and the rear wing — a first for the GT2 Stradale in terms of this type of finish.

Center-Lock Wheels and Carbon Brakes

Completing the exterior tweaks are black anodized wheels with a center-lock system instead of traditional lug nuts, plus carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow-painted calipers.
