China Produces 32 Million Cars in One Year, 76 New Chinese Models Enter Egyptian Market
A automotive specialist confirmed that China remains the world's largest automotive manufacturing market, producing approximately 32 million cars last year. This massive output has enabled the introduction of diverse models at competitive prices compared to many other markets.
The expert noted that Chinese cars have undergone significant quality improvements over the past decade, becoming capable of competing with global brands after overcoming many challenges faced during their early market entry.
Regarding the Egyptian market, he explained that some car agents have greatly benefited from after-sales services, generating high profits from maintenance work and spare parts sales, especially during the market's recession periods in recent years.
The specialist added that the spare parts market has faced major challenges recently, with three major companies in this sector closing their doors over the past three years due to accumulated debts and financial difficulties.
He revealed that the number of Chinese models entering the Egyptian market has reached nearly 76 new models, reflecting the significant expansion of Chinese brands in Egypt. He confirmed that some importers and agents with large portfolios, possibly reaching 50 models or more, are focusing their investments on the most in-demand and fastest-moving spare parts to accelerate capital turnover and achieve greater returns in shorter timeframes.
