Egypt Motorcycle Sales: 2026 Models Take the Lead
Looking at the yearly breakdown, motorcycles from model year 2026 dominated the market with 32,036 registrations, while 2025 models secured second place with 4,889 units. The numbers tell a straightforward story — buyers are flocking to the newest offerings.
Model year 2024 saw 716 registrations, followed by 2023 models with just 412 units. 2027 models have started appearing on Egyptian roads with 17 units already registered. That's a clear signal of how quickly the market adopts fresh inventory.
July Comparison: A Market on the Rise
July's figures painted a similar picture, though at a smaller scale. Model year 2026 accounted for 28,447 registrations, while 2025 models reached about 5,478 units. The month-over-month gap exceeds 3,000 motorcycles.. And the upward trend shows no signs of slowing.
Chinese Manufacturers Dominate the Egyptian Market
Three companies effectively control the motorcycle sector in Egypt, with Chinese giant Haojue leading the pack after selling over 14,000 units in a single month. That staggering volume puts the brand far ahead of its rivals.
Vigory claimed the runner-up spot with 5,262 motorcycles sold, followed closely by Dayun with 5,126 units. Together, these three brands moved more than 24,000 motorcycles out of roughly 37,000 total sales — accounting for about two-thirds of the entire market. Such dominance raises real questions about competitive balance in the segment.
Motorcycles offer a practical mobility solution for congested streets, and the latest data shows growing confidence among Egyptians in this vehicle category. Demand is heavily concentrated on newer models, a strong indicator that local buyers prioritize reliability and modern engineering over bargain pricing.
