Qasrawi Group, the official distributor of Jetour in Egypt, notified the Consumer Protection Agency about the incident. It didn't wait for complaints. The company handed over complete data on all eight damaged vehicles, including chassis and engine numbers, specifically to block any attempt to resell them as brand-new.

That's not a routine step. The agency confirmed in a statement that it received the formal notice from Qasrawi and is monitoring the situation in full coordination with the company until inspection and technical evaluation are complete.

None of the Eight Vehicles Reached Customers

A company source made one thing clear: the eight vehicles were still in transit when the accident happened. No customer had received any of them. That detail matters. Had even one been delivered, the legal and commercial picture would look entirely different today.

So what happens to these cars? The source stressed that Qasrawi won't treat or sell them as new without full disclosure of their actual condition. The commitment is on record.
