Nissan Egypt Unveils Export Plans for Locally Built Magnite, Eyes European Market Expansion
Mohamed Abdel Samad, Chairman of Nissan Egypt and Africa, has announced that the locally manufactured Nissan Magnite is fully prepared to expand its export footprint in the coming period. He highlighted that the company is planning to penetrate new markets beyond its current operational regions.
Abdel Samad emphasized that Nissan is adopting a forward-looking approach to product development, particularly as several countries in the Middle East and North Africa region are set to implement stricter environmental regulations starting in 2027 and 2028. He noted that the new model complies with Euro 6 emissions standards, making it highly eligible for export to a wide range of regional and international markets.
Furthermore, the Chairman of Nissan Egypt and Africa confirmed that Europe remains a viable option in the short term. The company is closely monitoring European legislation, which may eventually shift towards enforcing the more stringent Euro 7 emissions standards.
He concluded by affirming that Nissan is dedicated to building a sustainable industrial project. This initiative is designed not only to meet current market demands but also to lay a robust foundation for future expansion and increased export volumes in the coming years.
