Mansour Automotive CEO Named Among Forbes Middle East's Top 100 CEOs
Forbes Middle East has added a new name from the automotive world to its annual list. Ankush Arora, CEO of Mansour Automotive Group, was ranked among the top 100 CEOs in the region for 2026, in recognition of his leadership during an unprecedented growth phase. The nod reflects the scale of transformation the group has undergone under his tenure.
Criteria Behind the Selection
The list, compiled by Forbes Middle East, features elite executives running the region's largest and most influential companies. Several clear metrics drive the ranking, including company size, financial performance, growth rates, regional expansion, and innovation.
An executive's impact within their sector also proved decisive. Achievements logged over the past year factored into the final ranking, which is exactly what earned Arora a spot on this prestigious list.
Strategic Leadership Since 2021
Arora took the helm at Mansour Automotive Group in 2021, and has since driven an ambitious expansion strategy. The goal was straightforward: strengthen the group's position in both the Egyptian and regional markets.
Between 2025 and 2026, the group succeeded in doubling its brand portfolio, diversifying its product range and sharpening its competitive edge in the automotive sector. Continuing to bring in the latest global brands and technologies formed part of the broader plan.
Arora's role extends beyond day-to-day management; he also sits on the boards of MANTRAC and MANSCO, widening his influence within the group and across the industry at large.
Major Investment in Local Manufacturing
Perhaps the most notable milestone under Arora's leadership was the November 2025 groundbreaking for the eco-friendly "MAC" plant. The facility, dedicated to manufacturing transportation vehicles in Egypt, carries investments of $150 million — a clear signal of the group's commitment to deepening local production.
The plant targets annual production of 50,000 hybrid and electric vehicles in its first phase, with plans to scale up to 100,000 vehicles annually in subsequent stages. Those numbers position the group prominently within the region's shift toward sustainable mobility.
