Kaiyi International Establishes Independent Management for Egypt, Prepares for Local Manufacturing
The administrative move speaks louder than a simple restructuring. Kaiyi International has decided to assign direct and independent management to the Egyptian market, fully separating Egypt from the regional African management scope. The decision reflects Cairo's growing strategic weight in the brand's global expansion map.
Why Egypt Split from African Management
The vision is clear: strengthen operations in the Egyptian market and develop cooperation with Kaiyi Motors Egypt, the local arm serving as the main operational hub. Preparations are already underway for local manufacturing, alongside plans to launch new models and expand both sales networks and after-sales services.
Stephen Yao, Vice General Manager of Kaiyi International, now holds the file directly. He currently manages European, Turkish, and Russian markets — Egypt joins that portfolio immediately. Entrusting a leader of this caliber to the Egyptian file places Cairo among top-priority markets, feeding ambitious plans for manufacturing and export to foreign markets.
Kaiyi Motors Egypt Delivers Impressive Results
The decision was not made in a vacuum. Kaiyi Motors Egypt clinched the Platinum Award worldwide last year in recognition of its strong performance in the local market. That achievement is precisely what pushed the global leadership to recalibrate priorities and look toward Cairo as a regional growth hub.
The results confirm the success of the local strategy in strengthening the brand's presence and developing business operations. The coming phase will witness deeper cooperation between both sides, aiming to build on what has been accomplished and cement Egypt's position as a core base for manufacturing and regional expansion. The Egyptian market is entering an entirely different chapter.
