General Motors and Tanweer conclude program to qualify 75 female teachers in technology

Seventy-five Egyptian female teachers have completed a training program in technology and digital education, supported and funded by General Motors Africa and the Middle East. The program, concluded by the Tanweer Foundation for Life Skills Development, indirectly reached more than 5,000 students across multiple schools. The numbers speak for themselves. Program details and training tracks

The program targeted three consecutive groups of teachers from various disciplines, with a focus on schools implementing the national curriculum and girls' schools, as part of Tanweer's Women Teacher Empowerment initiative. Training covered several critical areas, including virtual laboratories, computational thinking, artificial intelligence, and programming. Participants also earned a specialized certificate from the WRO Learn platform, affiliated with the World Robot Olympiad, in leadership and innovation. Each component was designed to give teachers practical tools for the digital classroom.

On the practical side, the training included hands-on applications on the AiDU educational AI platform. The goal was straightforward: help teachers reduce administrative burdens and free up more time for student interaction and classroom development.
