Ferrari Raises 2026 Forecast After Strong Q2 Earnings Beat
Ferrari surprised the market again. The iconic Italian sportscar maker raised its full-year 2026 financial guidance after beating Wall Street expectations in the second quarter. Revenue targets now stand at approximately 7.6 billion euros, up from 7.5 billion. Adjusted earnings were also lifted to at least 2.97 billion euros, or 9.68 euros per share — a clear jump from the prior 2.93 billion euros and 9.45 euros per share. The numbers reflect sustained demand.
Strong Demand Driving the Results
The company exceeded analyst forecasts for Q2, and the reason is straightforward. CEO Benedetto Vigna credited the performance to sustained demand for personalization options and strong orders for Ferrari's sports cars. He added that the order book remains full through 2027 — an extraordinary position for any automaker. This isn't something you see every quarter.
Why the Timing Matters
Tom Narayan from RBC Capital Markets highlighted the significance of the guidance upgrade timing. Ferrari rarely raises its forecast in Q2, typically preferring to do so in Q3. Narayan called the move a positive signal for the rest of the year. The stock reacted accordingly, rising over 2% in early trading on Thursday. That move speaks volumes about investor sentiment.
Q2 results included an operating profit of 605 million euros, representing a margin of 31.2%. Net profit came in at 463 million euros — an increase of nearly 9% year-over-year. The numbers tell a compelling story. The market now watches for further announcements, especially with demand showing no signs of cooling down.
