Mercedes C 180 2022 Review & Test Drive
Generation Summary 2022 – 2027
The C180 Avantgarde serves as the entry point into the new W206 C-Class lineup, delivering much of the luxury feel of higher trims like the C200 AMG Line at a lower price with modest performance trade-offs. It combines a premium-feeling interior with a comfort-oriented driving character, making it a sensible entry into Mercedes-Benz ownership.
Pros
- Interior feels as premium as higher trims
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto included
- Comfortable, well-damped ride at higher speeds
- Generous interior space for its class
Cons
- Noticeably slower acceleration than the C200
- Less capable brakes compared to the AMG Line trim
- No built-in MBUX navigation system
- Ride is relatively firm at low speeds
