Leapmotor has unveiled its European expansion plan at the 2026 Paris International Motor Show, confirming the start of official production for its B10 electric vehicle in Zaragoza, Spain, in partnership with Stellantis. The B03 electric hatchback made its European debut with a 390-kilometer WLTP range, while the D19 sports utility vehicle was also showcased as part of the company's push into the continent.
Leapmotor B03: A 390 km Electric Hatchback for the City
The numbers stand out. The B03 packs 145 kW of motor power, which is more than adequate for daily urban driving, while delivering 390 kilometers of range on the WLTP cycle. Fast charging takes the battery from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes, a competitive figure in the compact EV segment.
Inside, Leapmotor has gone fully digital with the B03, fitting a 14.6-inch touchscreen and an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and over-the-air software updates. Driver assistance systems, heated seats and steering wheel, and multiple versatile storage spaces round out the equipment list.
Leapmotor D19: Six or Seven Seats with Super REEV Tech
What does the D19 bring? Leapmotor is targeting the upper tiers of its lineup with this SUV, offering six- or seven-seat configurations. The six-seat version features two captain's chairs in the second row, plus entertainment features, advanced driver assistance tech, and a suspension system that adapts to road conditions.
The D19 relies on Super REEV technology, a system that combines electric drive with a range-extending engine, giving it greater flexibility on long journeys than a pure EV. Its architecture integrates the battery and body into a single design, an engineering move aimed at cutting weight and improving energy efficiency.
B10 Production Begins in Spain with Stellantis
On the manufacturing front, Leapmotor has confirmed the start of official production for its B10 electric vehicle at the Zaragoza plant in Spain alongside Stellantis, a step designed to localize manufacturing near European markets and reduce logistics costs.
This strategy could open the door for Leapmotor models to reach more emerging markets, including Egypt, where demand for electric and hybrid vehicles is gradually rising. Launching the B03 and D19 while kicking off B10 production in Europe reflects the company's ambition to build a global presence that starts in Europe and extends well beyond it.
