DS Automobiles pulled the wraps off its DS F3VER CONCEPT at the Paris Motor Show 2026. The concept measures 4.19 metres long, 1.84 metres wide. 1.46 metres tall, placing it squarely in the compact segment with a stance that punches well above its footprint. Every line carries intent — nothing is decorative for the sake of it.
A front face that redefines DS identity
The front end centres on a bold vertical element bearing the brand's digital emblem. Y-shaped vertical lighting adds a sharp technological signature. At the rear, a matching vertical piece carries the DS logo, while multi-dimensional tail lamps create a striking sense of depth. These lamps look like a light tunnel stretching endlessly — and the hardware behind them backs that up. Sixteen LED panels, supported by a magnesium structure, were inspired by the domed roof of the Grand Palais in Paris. It's architecture translated into automotive lighting, and the effect is unlike anything else in the segment.
Customisation taken further than before
A configurable upper ring runs along the body, giving each owner a dedicated space for personal expression. DS also rethought its two-tone paint process entirely. Colour is no longer a layer sitting on top of the body — it's baked into the design structure itself. The dividing line between the two tones deliberately sweeps toward the rear, reaching the tail lamps before wrapping around the boot lid, flanks, and rear bumper. Cosmic Blue, developed exclusively for this car, shifts with the light. It moves from vivid blue to deep violet depending on the angle and illumination, giving the car a different character from every viewpoint.
French engineering with cross-industry inspiration
Every element of the DS F3VER CONCEPT was designed and developed in-house. The car draws from aviation, architecture, digital technology, and high-tech consumer devices. That mix gives it a personality that refuses to sit still. From one angle it reads as sporty, from another as purely technical. The magnesium lighting structure was not chosen at random — it's light, rigid. Reflects a commitment to engineering precision. This concept carries a distinctly French signature in every detail, from its exterior proportions to the treatment of its metallic surfaces. It previews where DS is heading in the premium compact space, where elegance meets advanced engineering.
