Soueast 2027 Prices in Egypt After Launch of S06 DM and S08 DM Hybrids
Chinese automaker Soueast has strengthened its presence in the Egyptian market with the official launch of two new plug-in hybrid models, the S06 DM and S08 DM. These additions join the brand's lineup, which is distributed locally by Man East, a subsidiary of the Mansour Group. The expansion comes at a time when the Egyptian market is witnessing growing demand for electric and hybrid vehicles, positioning Soueast as a rising contender in the eco-friendly automotive segment.
Impressive Sales Performance and Expanding Footprint
Soueast has managed to sell over 10,000 vehicles in the local market in less than a year since its launch, securing the seventh position among the best-selling brands. This achievement is supported by a network of 23 sales points and 8 service centers covering multiple governorates. The strong performance reflects growing consumer confidence in the Chinese brand, particularly due to its after-sales services and spare parts availability, which are key factors in the Egyptian car market.
Updated Price List for Soueast 2027 Models
The launch of the two new models coincided with the company's announcement of the latest price list for Soueast cars in Egypt, which includes six different variants ranging from traditional gasoline-powered vehicles to plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV). Prices in the local market start from EGP 1,070,000 for the S05 model and go up to EGP 1,799,000 for the S08 DM hybrid, which is currently the most expensive model offered by the brand in Egypt.
Here is a detailed breakdown of the prices for each Soueast model available in the Egyptian market for 2027: The Soueast S05 2027 model is offered in the Highline trim with a 1.5-liter turbo engine at a price of EGP 1,070,000. The Soueast S06 2027 comes in the Highline trim with a 1.5-liter turbo engine priced at EGP 1,350,000, while the Premium trim with a 1.6-liter turbo engine is officially priced at EGP 1,485,000. The Soueast S07 2027 is available in the Highline trim with a 1.5-liter turbo engine at EGP 1,390,000.
Competitive Landscape in Egypt
With these competitive prices, Soueast enters direct competition with other Chinese brands active in the local market, such as Chery and BYD, particularly in the plug-in hybrid segment. Soueast distinguishes itself by offering powerful turbo engines paired with advanced hybrid technology, making it an attractive option for buyers seeking a balance between performance and fuel efficiency. The brand's growing distribution and service network also helps build customer trust and expand its user base across Egypt.
