Shell Oil Prices in Egypt Rise by Up to EGP 65 – Official Price List Announced

Shell Lubricants Egypt has released its latest recommended price list for petroleum products in the local market, effective from Friday, July 10. The updated list covers engine oils for gasoline and diesel engines, as well as hydraulic oils and specialty products, with all prices inclusive of value-added tax.

Price Adjustments Vary by Product Type and Capacity

According to the official price list, the majority of Shell products in Egypt have remained stable, while select items have seen increases ranging from EGP 5 to EGP 65 per container, depending on the product type and capacity. These adjustments are part of a regular update cycle for petroleum product pricing in the Egyptian market.

Gasoline Engine Oils: Increases Starting at EGP 5

Shell's gasoline engine oils have recorded varied increases. The price of Shell Helix Extra City 10W40 rose by EGP 30 for the 4-liter container. Shell Helix HX5 Plus 15W50 saw a jump of EGP 35 for the 5-liter container. Shell Helix HX5 15W50 increased by EGP 15 for the 1-liter container and EGP 45 for the 4-liter container. Meanwhile, Shell Helix HX3 20W50 rose by EGP 10 for the 4-liter container, and Shell Helix HX3 SAE 50 increased by EGP 5 for the 1-liter container and EGP 10 for the 4-liter container.

Diesel Engine Oils: Increases Reaching Up to EGP 65

For diesel engines, the price of Shell Rimula R4 X 15W40 increased by EGP 45 for the 20-liter pail. Shell Rimula R3 X 20W50 saw a rise of EGP 20 for the 5-liter container and EGP 65 for the 20-liter pail. Shell Rimula R1 SAE 50 prices went up by EGP 10 for the 4-liter container and EGP 15 for the 5-liter container.
