Public Auction for Private Cars up to 2021 Models Including Tucson, Yaris, and Octavia

The General Authority for Government Services, under the Ministry of Finance, has announced a major public auction for selling several lots of private passenger cars sourced from customs abandoned and seized vehicles at Port Said and Damietta ports. The auction is organized under the supervision of the Central Sales Authority.

Auction Date and Venue

The auction session will be held on Monday, June 22, at 12:00 PM noon, at the Giza Sports Club hall on Al-Aazem Street, under Abbas Bridge in Giza Governorate. Interested bidders are encouraged to obtain the terms and conditions booklet in advance.

List of Vehicles Available at the Auction

According to the terms booklet, the auction includes a wide range of makes and models, such as: Chevrolet Aveo 2009 (petrol/gas), Kia K3 2015, Hyundai Avante 2007, 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2016, Kia Soul 2011, 2014, and 2015, Chevrolet Trax 2014, Skoda Octavia 2013, Mercedes G500 2021, Mini Cooper 2013 and 2015, Toyota Yaris 2018, Mercedes C180 2014 and 2015, Hyundai Tucson 2016, 2017, and 2018, Mercedes A180 2017, Kia Sorento 2021.

Auction Participation Conditions

The supervising committee confirmed that all vehicles are sold in their current condition, and the sale will be conducted according to the terms stated in the booklet. To participate, bidders must purchase the terms booklet for EGP 400, available at the General Authority for Government Services headquarters in the Ministry of Finance towers on Ramses Street, Building 2. The booklet fee is non-refundable even if the bidder does not win any vehicle.

Auction Deposit and Payment Terms

The authority set a deposit of EGP 50,000 to enter the auction. Additionally, 30% of the winning bid amount must be paid immediately upon acceptance, with the remaining balance due within 15 days from the auction date. The committee highlighted that this auction presents an excellent opportunity to purchase private cars at competitive prices, especially given the diversity of models and brands available.
