Nissan Egypt has announced the impending end of locally assembled Nissan Sentra production, with plans to introduce a new model to replace it in the local market. This development follows a statement by Engineer Mohamed Abdel Samad, CEO of Nissan Africa and Managing Director of Nissan Egypt, regarding the future of the sedan, which is one of the most prominent mid-size cars in the economy segment.

The Nissan Sentra 2027 is currently available in Egypt during June with a single Highline trim, priced officially at EGP 1,050,000. The car has maintained strong sales and a solid presence since its launch, making it a popular choice among families in the local market.

The Nissan Sentra is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, producing 118 horsepower and 154 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. It is paired with a CVT automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, offering balanced performance for daily commuting.
