Nissan Magnite and Hyundai Venue, Both Locally Assembled, Compete Even in Price Hikes

Nissan and Hyundai have raised prices on their locally assembled models in Egypt. Increases ranged between 12,000 and 32,000 EGP. Nissan Magnite jumped 32,000 EGP, while Hyundai Venue added 25,000 EGP.

New Prices Starting at 819,999 EGP

Nissan Magnite now starts at 819,999 EGP for the Visia trim. The Acenta trim is priced at 859,999 EGP. Tekna comes in at 879,999 EGP. The top Tekna+ trim reaches 899,999 EGP. That's a single 32,000 EGP hike.

Less than 48 hours later, Hyundai Venue announced a 25,000 EGP increase. The base Blaze trim now costs 869,000 EGP. The Redline trim climbed to 945,000 EGP. This marks Venue's first price adjustment since its official launch in Egypt.

Strong Demand Precedes the Hike

The increases followed notable buying interest in both models. Magnite recorded over 700 licensed units in September alone. Venue is seeing growing orders. Some dealers have imposed an overprice for delivery priority.

On the technical side, Hyundai Venue runs a 1.6-liter MPI gasoline engine producing 123 hp and 151 Nm of torque. A 6-speed automatic transmission handles the power. The drivetrain components are entirely Korean-made.
