New Price Cuts on MG ZS 2026 Starting at EGP 1,075,000
Mansour MG Automotive, the official distributor of the MG brand in Egypt, has announced fresh price reductions for the 2026 model year of the MG ZS. The base trim now starts at EGP 1,075,000, while the higher specification variant is priced at EGP 1,150,000. The reduction of EGP 50,000 across both variants aims to strengthen the compact SUV's position in the highly competitive Egyptian market.
Engine and Performance Specifications
Powering the MG ZS 2026 is a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine that delivers 123 horsepower and 135 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, offering smooth and reliable performance for daily commuting. Official figures indicate an average fuel consumption of 5.8 litres per 100 kilometres, making it an efficient choice among compact SUVs. The powertrain is tuned to balance city driving with occasional highway cruising.
Safety and Convenience Features
The entry-level trim comes equipped with essential safety systems, including front airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program (ESP), and tyre pressure monitoring. Additional comfort features include a halogen headlamps, keyless engine start, electrically adjustable side mirrors, manual air conditioning, and 16-inch alloy wheels. The infotainment system comprises four speakers with Bluetooth connectivity, while cruise control adds to driving convenience on longer journeys.
Upgraded Trim with Premium Additions
The higher trim of the MG ZS 2026 builds on the base specifications by adding side airbags, front fog lamps with LED daytime running lights, rear parking sensors, roof rails, power front and rear windows, a multifunction steering wheel, and 17-inch alloy wheels. It also features a larger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with six speakers and a rearview camera for enhanced visibility when reversing. All safety technologies from the entry variant are retained, ensuring comprehensive protection.
With these price adjustments, the MG ZS 2026 positions itself as a strong contender against rivals like the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro and the Haval H6 in the Egyptian compact SUV segment. MG offers a comprehensive warranty and after-sales service package to support buyers throughout their ownership experience.
