New Price Cuts on MG HS in Egypt Reach Up to EGP 75,000
Mansour MG Automotive, the official distributor of MG in Egypt, has announced significant price reductions on the MG HS across its various trims, with discounts ranging from EGP 50,000 to EGP 75,000. This move is part of the company's strategy to boost demand for the model in the local market and offer more competitive options for SUV enthusiasts.
Updated Pricing for the 2026 MG HS
According to the revised official price list, the LUXURY trim of the MG HS 2026 is now priced at EGP 1,450,000, while the HEV hybrid variant is set at EGP 1,525,000. These reductions apply to select trims available in the local market, making the vehicle an attractive option for those seeking a mid-size SUV with advanced technical specifications.
Engine and Performance Specifications
The LUXURY trim of the MG HS is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering 170 horsepower and a maximum torque of 275 Nm. It is paired with a 7-speed WDCT automatic transmission, ensuring smooth gear shifts and efficient fuel consumption for everyday driving.
The HEV hybrid version, on the other hand, features the same 1.5-liter turbo engine but produces a combined output of 221 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque. This configuration places it among the most efficient hybrids in its segment, blending strong performance with lower emissions and fuel economy, appealing to eco-conscious drivers.
Market Positioning and Competitive Edge
These price cuts come at a time when the Egyptian automotive market is witnessing intense competition, particularly in the SUV segment. MG aims to strengthen its market share and attract a broader customer base by offering both conventional and hybrid powertrains. Interested buyers are encouraged to check with authorized dealers for the latest pricing and availability to take advantage of these limited-time offers.
