MG GT 2026 Prices Slashed by EGP 50,000 in Egypt
Mansour MG Automotive, the official distributor of MG in Egypt, has announced a price reduction of EGP 50,000 across all variants of the MG GT 2026 model. The move aims to boost the model's competitiveness in the local compact sports sedan segment.
Updated Pricing for MG GT 2026
Following the discount, the first trim of the MG GT is now priced at EGP 1,110,000, while the second trim is available at EGP 1,160,000. This reduction reflects the company's strategy to offer more attractive price points for customers seeking a sporty yet practical vehicle.
Engine and Performance Specifications
The MG GT is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 170 horsepower and 275 Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain delivers responsive acceleration and smooth gear shifts, appealing to drivers who value both performance and everyday usability.
Safety and Driver Assistance Features
The vehicle comes equipped with a comprehensive safety package, including front, side, and curtain airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and rollover protection. Additional safety features include parking sensors, a 360-degree surround-view camera, tire pressure monitoring, child seat anchors, and an anti-theft system. Cruise control and an electronic parking brake are also standard.
Exterior and Interior Highlights
The MG GT is offered in four exterior colors—gray, black, red, and white—with LED headlights and taillights, automatic lighting, fog lamps, power-adjustable side mirrors, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a sunroof. Inside, the cabin features a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, leather seats, and automatic climate control with rear vents.
