Official Price Cut of Up to EGP 50,000 on MG G50 Plus 2026 in Egypt
Mansour Automotive Group, the exclusive distributor of MG in the Egyptian market, has announced a price reduction across the brand's entire lineup in Egypt, with cuts ranging from EGP 50,000 to EGP 100,000. The move comes amid market stabilization, easing geopolitical tensions in the region, and a decline in foreign exchange rates, which have collectively prompted dealers to revise their pricing strategies.
Price Cut Details for the 2026 MG G50 Plus
The reduction includes the MG G50 Plus 2026 model, the largest MG model in the Egyptian market, which received a fixed EGP 50,000 discount. This step is aimed at strengthening the family MPV's position in its segment and making it more appealing to consumers seeking a spacious vehicle at a competitive price point.
Engine and Performance Specifications
The MG G50 Plus is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 170 horsepower and 285 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (W-DCT) and front-wheel drive, delivering smooth and responsive performance suitable for daily commutes and long family trips.
Dimensions and Family-Oriented Design
The G50 Plus measures 4,825 mm in length, 1,825 mm in width, and approximately 1,778 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,800 mm. These dimensions provide a spacious cabin that can accommodate up to seven passengers, making it an ideal choice for larger families looking for ample space and comfort during everyday travel.
Infotainment and Comfort Features
The G50 Plus cabin features a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with automatic climate control and rear-seat air vents. The seats offer a flexible design, allowing for multiple configurations to suit passenger needs and luggage requirements.
Safety and Driver Assistance Systems
The vehicle is also equipped with front and side airbags, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist (HSA), and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). These safety features work together to enhance protection for both the driver and passengers on the road.
