Kia Seltos 2026 in Egypt: The Cheapest Kia Model Starts at EGP 1,349,900
The price is surprising. Kia Seltos 2026 crossover now wears the title of the cheapest Kia model in Egypt, with its base EX trim starting at one million three hundred forty-nine thousand nine hundred Egyptian pounds. Local distributor EIT published the official price list in July.
Engine choices and performance
Two engines are available. The first is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated unit producing 115 hp and 145 Nm of torque, paired with an IVT gearbox. The second is a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine delivering 140 hp and 247 Nm, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch DCT transmission. The gap in power and torque is significant — the turbo option feels noticeably stronger on the road.
Dimensions and ground clearance
The Seltos measures 4,385 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height. Wheelbase stands at 2,630 mm. Curb weight reaches 1,465 kg. Ground clearance is 185 mm, a decent figure for light off-road use or broken pavement.
Safety equipment
Standard safety kit includes forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability is also present. The system integrates automatic emergency braking — a solid package for this price segment.
Trim levels and pricing breakdown
Three trims are offered. The entry-level EX 2026 model sells for EGP 1,349,900. The mid-range Highline Turbo costs EGP 1,499,900. The flagship Topline Turbo is priced at EGP 1,624,900. The price differences are relatively modest, making the Highline Turbo a strong value proposition for buyers wanting the turbo engine without stepping to the fully loaded trim.
