Kaiyi X7 Hybrid Price Drops by EGP 50,000 in Egypt
Kaiyi Egypt has announced a price reduction on its Kaiyi X7 hybrid model in the Egyptian market, lowering the price by EGP 50,000 to EGP 1,599,900 instead of EGP 1,649,900. The move is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its presence in the growing hybrid vehicle segment in Egypt.
Hybrid Powertrain and Performance
The Kaiyi X7 Hybrid combines a traditional gasoline engine with an electric motor for enhanced efficiency and power. The petrol engine delivers 156 hp and 220 Nm of torque, while the electric motor contributes 204 hp and 310 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted through a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, ensuring smooth and responsive gear changes.
Driving Range and Efficiency
In all-electric mode, the Kaiyi X7 can travel up to 105 km, while the total combined range exceeds 1,200 km when using both engines. The vehicle achieves a top speed of 180 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. Fuel consumption stands at 5.2 liters per 100 km, supported by a 60-liter fuel tank.
Battery and Charging Capabilities
The car is equipped with an 18.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, supporting fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. Slow charging from 10% to 100% takes approximately 4 hours, offering owners flexible charging options at home or public stations.
Dimensions and Practicality
The Kaiyi X7 Hybrid offers generous proportions with a length of 4,710 mm, width of 1,955 mm, height of 1,705 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,800 mm. Ground clearance ranges from 159 mm to 147 mm. The cargo space measures 518 liters, expanding to 1,566 liters when the rear seats are folded, making it a practical choice for families and long journeys.
