Kaiyi E5 and X3 Pro Prices Slashed by Up to EGP 50,000 in Egypt

Kaiyi Motors Egypt (KME), the local distributor for the Kaiyi brand, has announced new price cuts across several trims of its lineup, including the Kaiyi E5 sedan and the Kaiyi X3 Pro SUV, with reductions reaching EGP 50,000. The move comes as the Egyptian auto market continues to navigate currency fluctuations and shifting demand.

Updated Kaiyi E5 Pricing

The Kaiyi E5 Premium trim is now priced at EGP 859,900, down from EGP 888,000 — a drop of EGP 28,100. The Flagship trim, meanwhile, has been reduced to EGP 899,900 from EGP 949,900, representing a full EGP 50,000 saving. That leaves a gap of just EGP 40,000 between the two trims.

Under the hood, the E5 is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 156 horsepower, with features including a sunroof, airbags, and a multi-link rear suspension depending on the trim level. This powertrain delivers a balanced mix of performance and efficiency for daily commuting.

Kaiyi X3 Pro Price Reductions

The Kaiyi X3 Pro also saw cuts of up to EGP 50,000, with the Topline trim now retailing at EGP 869,900 instead of EGP 919,900. The Flagship trim has similarly dropped to EGP 929,900 from EGP 979,900. The SUV now offers a more compelling value proposition in the increasingly crowded compact segment.

The X3 Pro is available with the same 1.5-liter turbo engine rated at 156 horsepower in its top trim, while some variants feature a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter unit producing 118 horsepower, depending on the configuration. Buyers can choose based on their preference for power or fuel economy.

What These Cuts Mean for Buyers

As a result, Kaiyi E5 prices now start from EGP 859,900, while the Kaiyi X3 Pro begins at EGP 869,900 following the latest adjustments. This pricing strategy appears aimed at boosting sales momentum and staying competitive against other Chinese and mainstream brands operating in the same price bracket.
